Leave Protocols
Annual leaves require a designated Replacement Employee. If the replacement is in the same department and not on leave, the request is automatically forwarded. Final approval depends on your current Annual Balance.
Compensation leave is granted for work done on an official day off. To qualify, you must have attended for at least 8 hours on that specific day off. The request must be submitted within the same month.
Unpaid leaves typically require approval from the Dean or Head of Department. If the requester is a Dean, approval escalates to the Vice President or President.
Payroll & Deductions
Deductions are finalized at the end of the month.
- Missing Hours: Calculated based on hourly rate.
- Missing Days: Calculated as (Salary / 30) per day.
Overtime applies if your total attended hours exceed the required monthly hours. The rate is determined by your specific Role's overtime factor (e.g., Lecturers and TAs have different multipliers).
